РУСЬКИЙ СОБОР (“ПОЛЬСЬКО-РУСЬКА РАДА”) 1848 р. В ТЕРМІНАХ І ПОНЯТТЯХ НАЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ ІСТОРІЇ

Анотація


     У статті йдеться про методологічні аспекти дослідження Руського собору (спочатку “Польсько-руської ради”) – національно-політичного об’єднання, заснованого у Львові в 1848 р. на противагу Головній руській раді. Руський собор об’єднав осіб із подвійною (по суті, двоступеневою) українсько-польською ідентичністю. Аналіз понятійного апарату, який історики використовують для характеристики національних рухів, дав підстави для висновку, що дослідження українського націєтворення в Галичині ХІХ ст. потребує нелінійного підходу. Під таким кутом зору Руський собор постає як локалізоване в часі й просторі політичне і культурне явище. Його вивчення має значення для розуміння механізмів формування в Галичині новочасної української національної ідентичності.
