ХОРВАТСЬКИЙ ГУМАНІСТ МАТІЙ ВЛАЧІЧ І ЙОГО ВНЕСОК У НАУКОВУ ДУМКУ РАННЬОМОДЕРНОЇ ДОБИ

Анотація


     У статті висвітлюється біографія і творчість хорватського церковного і культурного діяча XVI ст. Матія Влачіча. Розглядається його трактат “Ключ до Святого Письма”,  підтверджується значний внесок протестантського мислителя у розвиток біблійної екзегетики і герменевтики. На основі аналізу твору Влачіча “Каталог свідків істини” розкриваються його методи застосування історичних джерел і церковних документів в осмисленні історії Церкви. Визначена головна роль хорватського гуманіста у створенні наймасштабнішої історичної праці ранньомодерної доби – “Магдебурзьких центурій” –  і з’ясовано її значення у становленні сучасної історичної науки.
