УКРАЇНСЬКА РУКОПИСНА ОРНАМЕНТИКА НОВОВІЗАНТІЙСЬКОГО СТИЛЮ:
ОСОБЛИВОСТІ РОЗВИТКУ В КОНТЕКСТІ СХІДНОХРИСТИЯНСЬКИХ
ХУДОЖНЬО-МИСТЕЦЬКИХ ТРАДИЦІЙ

Анотація


     У статті висвітлюється практично недосліджена проблема – еволюція та трансформація нововізантійської орнаментики в українських рукописних книгах. Досі вважалося, що ці вибагливі прикраси не прижилися в книжно-мистецьких осередках пізньосередньовічної України, яка не мала власної держави, а відтак, і відповідних соціально-політичних умов. На підставі систематизації раніше відомих, але розрізнених відомостей про оздоблення українських пам’яток, а також нових даних, отриманих у результаті аналізу маловивчених орнаментальних зразків, розкривається важлива роль цього орнаментального стилю в розвитку українського книжкового мистецтва. Особливу увагу приділено генетичним зв’язки українських нововізантійських візерунків із спорідненими у стильовому відношенні візантійсь-
кими, південнослов’янськими та російськими орнаментами.
