X-RAY LUMINESCENCE OF Tl4CdI6 CRYSTALS

Abstract


We report on the study of low-temperature spectra (80-130 K) of X-ray luminescence of Tl4CdI6 crystals. Temperature behavior of the studied X-ray luminescence spectra and identification of their maxima are presented. The recombination mechanisms associated with natural anisotropy of the compounds under study are discussed and the possibility of their practical application is analyzed
