Abstract

Data on the morphological and vascular-anatomical investigation of the flower of Ornithogalum caudatum are presented. It is established that the gynoecium has two vertical structural zones: synascidiate and symplicate. At the base all tepals are supplied by three vascular bundles, and all stamens – by single bundle. Vascular system of the gynoecium has three groups of bundles: ventral complex, 6 lateral carpel veins and 3 dorsal carpel veins.
