В ОБОРОНІ ВАРШАВСЬКОЇ КОНФЕДЕРАЦІЇ: ПРИЧИНКИ ДО БІОГРАФІЇ МАРЦІНА БРОНЕВСЬКОГО

Анотація


     У статті висвітлюється політична, церковна і літературна діяльність польського шляхтича Марціна Броневського, оперта на гуманістичні ідеали і релігійну толерантність Чеського братства й спрямована на захист свободи сумління, проголошеної Варшавською конфедерацією. На прикладі Броневського розкриваються більш і менш відомі епізоди співпраці протестантів і православних у відстоюванні своїх релігійних прав. В аналізі літературної спадщини Броневського акцентовано на застосуванні ним юридичних документів і аргументів, важливих для впровадження правничого дискурсу у релігійну полеміку. Узагальнюються дані, представлені у давніших і сучасних дослідженнях, звернутих до постаті Марціна Броневського.

    Ключові слова: Варшавська конфедерація, Марцін Броневський, Чеське братство, боротьба за свободу віри, Київська митрополія, протестантсько-православні взаємини.
