ПАМ’ЯТЬ ПРО ПЕРШУ СВІТОВУ ВІЙНУ У МОНУМЕНТАЛЬНОМУ МИСТЕЦТВІ ПОЛЬЩІ

Анотація


     У статті досліджується відображення Першої світової війни 1914–1918 рр. у монументальному мистецтві Польщі на прикладі типових для країни меморіалів і пам’ятників, розташованих у різних її куточках. Аналіз споруд дав підстави для висновку, що у Польщі шанують героїв та пам’ять жертв “Великої війни”. Водночас цей глобальний воєнний конфлікт ототожнюється насамперед з народженням Другої Речі Посполитої 1918–1939 рр., а його герої трактуються як борці за незалежність держави. Разом з тим, у монументальних спорудах відображений непростий шлях Польщі до незалежності – поділ польських земель напередодні Першої світової війни та складнощі зі встановленням кордонів після її закінчення.
