UKRAINIAN FOLKLORE IN THE POLISH RESEARCHERS’ MONOGRAPHIC (ON MATERIAL OSCAR KOLBERG’S “POKUTTYA”)

Abstract

     The history of recording of Ukrainian folklore by Polish researchers from the XIX^th century up to the end of XIX^th century is showed. Special attention is paid to the Polish researcher Oscar Kolberg’s method of work who was granted important place for picking and researching Ukrainian folklore in his work. Folklore-ethnogra­phical research “Pokuttya” serves as example of this and is built by fixed plan and elaborated method.
