ВІТЧИЗНЯНА ІТ-ІНДУСТРІЯ У КОНТЕКСТІ СВІТОВОЇ ДІДЖИТАЛІЗАЦІЇ

Анотація

The article analyzes the development of the domestic IT industry as an element of the global IT market. Today, IT and the associated digitalization of all spheres of human life are important drivers of economic development and social relations. Global digitization is a new step in informatization society. The main components of informatization are computerization, mediation and intellectualization. Computerization ensures full use of computers and related technologies. Mediatization characterizes the coverage of the entire society by intensive information communications. Intellectualization reflects the growing role of knowledge in today's society. Computerization and mediation help to transform the industry economy into a network economy. Its main characteristics are openness, decentralization, self-development, dominance of horizontal ties, autonomy of elements. The technology base for a network economy is global computer networks that are transformed in line with the Internet of Things concept.

Demand for IT is driving the development of the global IT industry based on the fourth IT platform. The components of this platform are: implementation of the XaaS/PAYG model; seamless integration of systems; comprehensive process automation; integration into a single ecosystem of assets, devices, data and users; digital transformation of society. International organizations are developing the digital transformation concept.

Today, the Ukrainian government has begun to implement a national program of digital transformation of the economy and society that is in line with the global concept. Significant efforts are being made to develop the domestic IT industry, which now occupies a small share of the global IT market. Although its relatively rapid growth rate indicates its high potential. The contribution of the IT industry to the growth of the entire domestic economy is important. The peculiar influence on the current state of the domestic IT industry and the prospects for its development have features of its functioning in the conditions of Ukrainian realities. To reduce the negative impact and enhance the positive trends, it is necessary to conduct systematic scientific studies of the development of the IT industry.
