Анотація

Meeting the 100th anniversary of our teacher professor professor Borys Fedorovych Sukhomlynov, the staff of the Department of Biochemistry of Lviv National University of Ivan Franko report the significant scientific achievements. Mentioned accomplishments were achieved in the field of fundamental research related to the clarification of the molecular mechanisms that mediate changes of blood cells morpho-functional state and lower eukaryotes under normal conditions and various pathologies. Significant achievements were made also in the field of applied researches and biotechnology of drugs development on the base of biologically active compounds from medicinal plants and mushrooms that have antioxidant and hypoglycemic effects.
