The crystal structure of four saturated deuterides of oxygen-modified intermetallic
compounds Ti4–xZrxFe2Oy (x = 1, 2, 3; y =
0.25, 0.5) has been investigated by both X-ray and neutron powder diffraction.
The distribution of D-atoms in the metal matrix has been determined and analysed as function of the Ti/Zr
and oxygen content. The obtained crystallographic data were compared with
structural results for other oxygen-stabilised Ti/Zr-based h-phases.
Types of interstice in the structure of (Ti,Zr)4Fe2Ox.
