Анотація

У статті за результатами соціологічного онлайн-опитування розглядається проблема репутації інтернатного закладу як освітнього інституту в очах громадськості, в даному випадку – серед користувачів інформаційної мережі «Інтернет». З’ясовано, що в цілому репутація інтернату, як освітньої інституції, не отримує категоричних негативних оцінок, існує баланс позитивних і негативних суджень про рівень освіти, виховання, матеріально-технічних умов і ставлення до дітей з боку педагогічного колективу. При порівнянні їх із загальноосвітніми школами, а також з позиції вибору респондентами типу навчального закладу для своєї дитини репутація інтернатів знижується. Водночас виявився той факт,що громадська думка не підтримує ідею повної ліквідації інтернатних закладів системи освіти як освітньої інституції, хоча допускає можливість передачі дітей-сиріт в сім’ї різного типу та організації їх інклюзивного навчання за умови достатнього фінансування цих заходів.

Basing on the results of sociological online survey, the author pays our attention to the problem of reputation of boarding schools as an educational institution in the public eye. The survey received 287 users of the Internet. While performing the survey we have found out that there is no clear negative opinion on the reputation of boarding schools as an educational institution. There is a balance between negative and positive opinions about the level of education and upbringing, material and technical conductions, and attitude towards children from the teaching staff. The survey showed that the most respondents, in whole or in part, agree to the next statements about boarding schools: a boarding school is a place where pupils receive a quality education and upbringing (50%); pupils eat well and are held in good conditions: hygienic and sanitary, material and technical, appropriate aesthetic (55,7%); in most of the boarding schools teachers and educators are kind to the children (60%). The respondents have less information about the relations between pupils in boarding schools, but nearly half of the respondents (47,5%) consider them friendly. We have found out that the reputation of boarding schools depends on a comparative context. For example, the reputation level of boarding schools in comparison with the reputation level of general education schools is lower (65,3% of the respondents think that reputation of graduates of boarding schools is lower than reputation of graduates of general education school) and in accordance with the respondents’ choice of a type of educational establishment (60,5% of respondents would not, under any circumstances, get their own child into a boarding school). At the same time, we have found out that the public does not support the idea of complete elimination of boarding schools as an educational institute, although admits the possibility of a transfer of orphans to families of different types for upbringing and their further education at the inclusive schools. A main condition to ensure the success of these actions, according to the public opinion, is an adequate financing.
