Анотація


An integral part of a modern globalized world is the intensive international migration of the population. Migration processes have a significant impact on the development of modern societies, in particular in socio-economic and demographic aspects. Migration is a complex, complex social phenomenon, the existence of which is due to the influence of a number of factors that have a socio-economic, demographic, political, social and ethnocultural character. Today there is a need to choose the theoretical and methodological basis of sociological research in the center of which would be the very community of Ukrainian migrants in host societies. As such, the theory of social capital may serve. The article is devoted to the outline of the subject field of the sociological study of the social capital of the emigrant communities of Ukrainians in the host countries.
